Primary Colors in Light and Dyes

When I studied communications in college, I never thought that studying about colors would be very essential to my course. I thought that colors belong in art and that only artists would need this kind of study. But I was really glad I had to study the concepts about colors because it was really fun. The way I see it, it could be the one of the most fun things about studying.

It was also during this time that I discovered about primary colors and that there are two sets of primary colors that the human eye can recognize. When I was in grade school, I was taught by my art teachers that there are only three primary colors: red, blue, and yellow. But in light, these colors do not apply. I was amazed how this concept was even thought of. I think perhaps that there still a lot of things that the human brain do not know. But it was fun to discover little things like this.
